Editorial Policy
This page explains how NaturalWell content is produced, so you can judge how much to rely on it.
Sources we use
We prioritise, in this order:
- Guidance from health authorities, such as the US National Institutes of Health (including the Office of Dietary Supplements and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health), the UK NHS, the World Health Organization and professional bodies.
- Systematic reviews and meta-analyses, including Cochrane reviews.
- Individual randomised controlled trials, when no review exists.
We avoid relying on manufacturer claims, testimonials or single small studies, and we say so when the evidence is limited or mixed.
How articles are written
Articles are researched and drafted with the help of AI writing tools, under editorial standards set by Anmar Arab. Before publication, every article is checked against a written quality checklist: sources must come from health authorities or published reviews and be verified to exist, claims must match those sources, and the article must include how the remedy is used, its side effects and interactions, who should avoid it, and when to see a doctor. Articles that fail the checklist are not published.
Anmar reviews published articles regularly and corrects or removes anything that falls short. If you find a problem before he does, please tell us.
What we do not do
- We do not diagnose conditions or give individual medical advice.
- We do not recommend stopping or replacing prescribed treatment.
- We do not accept payment to feature products, and we do not sell supplements.
Advertising
NaturalWell may display advertising to cover running costs. Advertisers have no influence over what we write, and ads are always clearly separated from article content.
Corrections and updates
We review articles regularly and when new evidence is published. If you spot an error, please tell us through the contact page. Significant corrections are made promptly and the article's "updated" date is changed.
